Purpose:
To seek authorisation for the write-off of
debts over £10,000 in accordance with the Council’s
write-off policy.
Decisions:
The Cabinet received a report which sought authorisation for the write-off of 5 debts over £10,000 in accordance with the Council’s write-off policy.
The Cabinet were advised that the debts were at this point non recoverable due to insolvency action. A query was raised as to the period covering one of the debts.
RESOLVED that the position regarding the debts listed in the report be noted and that the 5 debts be written off on the Council’s books.
